Using this website
The Prismi website, its calculators, checklists and guides are provided as general information to help business owners and their advisers understand tax-purpose business valuation. They are educational in nature, do not take your specific circumstances into account, and are not valuation, tax, legal or financial advice. Using the site or a tool does not create a client relationship and does not entitle you to rely on any output.
Tool outputs are indicative, not valuations
Any figure, range or result produced by a tool on this site — including the guided valuation estimate and the instant quote — is indicative only. It is not a market valuation, is not prepared under International Valuation Standards or APES 225, is not signed, and cannot be relied on for tax, ATO, legal, transaction or any other purpose. Only a written report prepared under a formal engagement can be relied on, and only for the purpose stated in it.
Valuation engagements are governed separately
A valuation engagement begins only when scope and a fixed fee are confirmed in writing and you accept them. The engagement letter and its terms govern the work, the report and its permitted use. Where those terms differ from anything on this website, the engagement letter prevails. We confirm the scope, tier, fee and timing before any work begins, and the fee is fixed at engagement and never contingent on the concluded value.
Intellectual property
The content, design and tools on this website are owned by Prismi unless stated otherwise, and are provided for your personal and business reference. A valuation report we prepare is provided to the instructing client for the purpose stated in it; it may not be relied on by another party or for another purpose without our written agreement.

To the extent permitted by law, Prismi is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the general information or tool outputs on this website, which are provided without warranty as to accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee or right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
